Jenny, Thank you for this beautiful inspiration! It brought to mind a situation about 20 years ago when my sister who is blind and developmentally differently abled, was living in a group home and coming home every other weekend. I had been searching for someone to take her to church the weekends she stayed at her group home and met Diane, a wonderful woman at our Diocesan convention, who said she’d be thrilled to bring Jane to her church located close to where my sister Jane lived. Diane later told me that Jane saved their church! The parishioners had been quarreling with each other ( I’m assuming about petty things) when Jane walks into church armed and arm with Diane. Apparently God used Jane to open people’s eyes to what’s important - Love and acceptance…

Re: Welcome The Stranger
I have a similar story as Stephanie. Every Tuesday when my wife finishes bowling, a mentally challenged young man named Willy comes out to greet her. My wife and him exchange fun thoughts between them and she leaves him with some food money. He truly brightens my wife’s day!
